Inspired by the magnificent Gardens of Versailles, this elegant tray features a radiant orange beneath the sun. As mentioned by Molière in The Miser, the orange was once a symbol of extravagance. Louis XIV saw in it a reflection of the sun and adopted it as his personal emblem, later commissioning the creation of his famous Orangery at Versailles.Sweet, fragrant, and highly prized, the orange soon found its way onto the royal tables, becoming one of the most celebrated luxuries of the French court.Crafted from high-quality varnished metal with a glossy finish and a hand-painted gold rim, this refined tray is perfect as a catchall, a small serving tray, or a decorative accent. Each trinket tray is handcrafted using a traditional process combining printing on metal with the application of a protective varnish. The gold rim is hand-painted, giving each piece an elegant and refined finish.

Slight variations in colour, shape or finish may occur. These are inherent to the handcrafted nature of the production process and reflect the unique character of each piece.
