While wandering, as we often do, through the elegant aisles of Le Bon Marché, our attention was drawn to the beautiful Maison Pinçon space, filled with exquisite frames. The setting was enchanting: surrounded by thousands of books from the neighbouring bookstore and the captivating scents of the renowned Maison Trudon, the experience was a true delight for the senses.
It was there that we met Laurent, a man of great elegance who spoke about his craft with genuine passion. For several years, he has represented Maison Pinçon, the renowned art framing house established within the legendary Le Bon Marché.
Founded in 1906, Maison Pinçon is an essential reference in the art of framing. With more than a century of history, it embodies the excellence of French craftsmanship and has been recognised for its heritage, expertise, and contribution to the influence of Parisian decorative arts.
Captivated by the exceptional craftsmanship of this historic house, we shared many conversations—and the idea of a partnership naturally emerged.
We had long been searching for frames capable of becoming true showcases for our illustrations, while embodying the spirit of French artisanal excellence. This vision has now become a reality: we are delighted to present an exclusive selection of our illustrations at the Maison Pinçon corner, located on the second floor of Le Bon Marché, rue de Sèvres in Paris.
Designed as an ode to noble materials, this collection combines timeless elegance, artisanal craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
We chose a double oak wood frame, available in two finishes. These frames enhance our illustrations, providing them with a refined setting and a unique sense of depth, while revealing the richness of French craftsmanship.
This collaboration embodies a poetic and timeless aesthetic, where every detail celebrates excellence, emotion, and the beauty of exceptional craftsmanship.
