Description

This illustration is taken from one of the most beautiful French wallpapers published in 1861 by the Manufacture Desfossé. PARADISIO IMAGINARIUM publishes illustrations from the 18th and 19th centuries which are part of the treasures of the funds of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. These illustrations from French decorative historical heritage, we required hundreds of hours of reconstruction. Meticulous work allowed us to add our sensitivity to this magnificent decor by bringing new nuances and colors.

Eden lives up to its name so well. It is a heavenly setting whose fantasized representation of nature, with blue and green shades and lush landscape, dense forests, mountains, cascades of flowers and animals, responds to an idyllic vision of a time when botanical discoveries fueled the imagination. It is a representation of an earthly paradise without seasons or geographical boundaries. Plants like lily of the valley, viper bugloss, Alpine carnation, Caucasian scabiousa, Clivia, Peruvian amaryllis, Amazonian bromeliads, Indian lotus, European water lily and Japanese hydrangea, not to mention oaks, cedars and palm trees coexist in this fantastic Edenic world.

Very high quality art print using ultrafine pigment inks on 350g thick textured Vellum paper.

This excellent paper is used for art reproductions. We use a very saturated pigment process, ensuring our prints have a velvety appearance and exceptional color density, close to painting.

Protection with feather board for additional framed illustrations for 50X70 and 70X100 cm formats.
