Description

Illustration of an elegant bouquet of red marbled tulips.

Highly prized by Ottoman sultans, who adorned their turbans with these flowers, the tulip is said to take its name from tulipan, meaning “turban”. In 17th-century Europe, the tulip became an extraordinary luxury, with some bulbs reaching such extravagant prices that a single one could reportedly be worth the equivalent of four paintings by Rembrandt.

Available in three background colours: Linen, Black and Almond Green.
